Following the December community meeting, the City has acted upon residents’ feedback, initiating several updates throughout the park. Completed updates include:
- Straightening and repairing the Leisure Bear sign.
- Repairing street lights.
- Trimming and removing specific trees as requested by residents.
- Installing a new perimeter fence. Additionally, a new gate will be installed in the back of the park in the coming weeks to ensure multiple safe exits for residents.
The City appreciates the valuable feedback received and remains committed to listening to residents for future updates.
A second workshop will be held on Monday, May 20 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in English and from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. in Spanish. The workshop will be at the Community Church Big Bear located at 40946 Big Bear Boulevard.
